It is NOT only for 8th graders. The cheerleading coach, Mrs. Allman, is the planner of the dance. I would know this.
BTW, there is a very high chance of a talent show during the school day someday during Spirit Week.

hm that sucks. if they're trying to do this to get the school to not be bothered about the all dress code spirit week well it's not gonna work with the sixth grades and there's more of us than of the other grades. i mean, i wouldn't ask a guy because i'm too scared but i'd still like to go to the dance.
girls need to take responsibilty 4 th erelationship 2 and suffer the nervousness just as much as boys
